UPONCOMM Technology 8G SFP SW transceiver is small form factor pluggable module for serial optical data communications such as X1/X2/X4/X8 Fiber Channel. It is with the SFP+ 20-pin connector to allow hot plug capability. Digital diagnostic functions are available via an I2C. This module is designed for 8Gbps fiber channel connectivity application and provides a maximum link distance of 300m over OM3 multimode fiber. It is programmed to ensure working with SAN switches and routers, which makes it be an ideal equivalent to a high-cost 8Gb SW SFP+ module.
